To provide expertise and services on application of ICT

The Unit will perform the following activities:-

• Implement ICT Policy and e-Government strategy
• Develop and coordinate Integrated Information and Communication Technology
• Maintain hardware and software
• Coordinate and provide support on procurement of software and hardware
• Establish and Coordinate use of Electronic mail Communication on LAN and WAN
• Carryout studies and propose areas of using ICT as an instrument to improve service delivery
• Support the use and development of information technology to enable innovation in research, learning and research result dissemination
• Provide a robust, reliable, and secure information technology Infrastructure: and
• Plan and develop a system for collecting and management of TAFIRI Statistics

The Unit will be led by a Head who will be equivalent to Principal Officer
